Sweetbay Magnolia (Shrub-Form)
Magnolia virginiana 'Sweetbay'
A small shrub-like tree which has a great display of fragrant white blooms in early summer. In fall, the fruit displays bright red seed. Lustrous dark green leaves are evergreen in Zone 8 and warmer, deciduous in colder climates. Mature size is approximately 20 feet high by 25 feet wide.
