Silver Maple
Acer saccharinum
This rapid growing tree is very adaptable and will grow in nearly any range of soil pH, but prefers slightly acid conditions. Foliage is light green on top and silvery-green underneath, turning bright yellow in fall. Height is 60 to 100 feet with equal spread.
