Acer palmatum 'Oshio Beni'
A sturdy upright grower with a spreading canopy reaching a height of 15 to 20 feet and a width of 18 feet. New growth is a bright orange-red rather than purple-red, turning green-red in mid to late summer, and finally bright scarlet by fall.
