Has white spring flowers. New spring foliage has hues of pink, turns a brilliant burgundy in fall and winter and contrasts against fall clusters of bright red berries. A dwarf dense growth habit matures at 1 to 2 feet tall and wide. Spreads well in most soils and locations.
