A well-branched, somewhat oval-shaped compact evergreen shrub prized for its lustrous leaves. Small yellow flowers in spring followed by black berries in fall. Matures to 4 feet tall and wide. It does well in neutral to acid soil. Perfect as a hedge or mass planting.
