This clump forming perennial has the darkest foliage of all Ligularia. Deep chocolaty foliage with purple undersides provides a beautiful framework for the yellow, daisy-like flowers blooming in summer. Will reach 2 to 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide. Excellent in mass plantings.
