Hardy Pampas Grass
Saccharum ravennae
A clump-forming ornamental grass that resembles Pampas Grass, but is more cold hardy. Matures at 9 to 12 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide. Purplish-bronze flower plumes age to silver gray in fall and persist into winter. Great used as a single specimen for a striking accent or focal point.
